Boost Your Entrecard Drops Thru Incentives
As far as I know, there is only one program that give incentives to your regular entrecard droppers, and that is the “YOU DROP, I FOLLOW” tag, which is placed over or under the entrecard widget. But as I was browsing through my Blogrush widget, I’ve found an application that will encourage your droppers even more. This is the “You Drop, I Link“ widget. It basically displays the first 50 blogs, that drops on your entrecard widget in any given day. It works like a blogroll and a ticker tape combined.
The widget is free from any “nofollow” attributes, however, that won’t be beneficial to any of us because all the links in the ticker/blogroll is going from your blog through your entrecard page, which will just be an additional link to the entrecard site, although that’s not really a problem.
On your left is the actual You Drop I Follow widget. The design is available in 14 different color variations, you can pick the best color appropriate for your blog’s theme. As you can see, there are still major fixes needed for this application, specially for the design, but the idea and functionality is really impressive. For now, I’ll not be using it for some reasons, but hey, it’s really good to give some incentives for your regular droppers.

Hi,
Thanks for commenting about my widget. Yes, the links at the moment goes to User’s entrecard site and not directly to user’s blog. I’ll be adressing that issue in the next release.
I see that you have put the code of the widget into your post’s body. The problem with that is the blog’s editor ads some unwanted characters inside the code, but surprisingly, even though it doesn’t render OK, it works nonetheless and the links also work.
